Definition: Prima donna
Someone for whom: “It is all about me and what I want.”  

Story: The association's CEO did not take constructive feedback. He killed the messengers, ended up living in fantasyland, and was destroying the organization. For example, when budget cuts were necessary, he didn’t want to share in the pain and kept his car and driver. Even the best of coaches couldn't get through to him. This was the straw that broke the camel's back and led to his dismissal. He never did understand why the Board decided he was the wrong person for the job. 

Nugget: Even when faced with the grimmest facts, prima donnas can seldom reign in their behaviors.
